Every message follows the same closed path: sealed on the sending device, moved blind by the relay, opened only on the receiving device.

Device authenticates

Only devices onboarded by hardware attestation and operator invitation can join the network — there is no open sign-up to compromise.

Keys are exchanged

A hybrid handshake combines a classical and a post-quantum key exchange, so the session key is safe even against a future quantum adversary.

Content, attachments and metadata are encrypted on-device with a key that rotates every message — the Double Ratchet.
